This torch works quickly. I can now use my Egg in about the same time a Weber Genesis took to heat up for grilling purposes. The biggest drawback (the waiting time) to using charcoal seems to have now vanished with this torch.

I've had the JJGeorge Grill Torch for 8 months now, and it's been 8 months of pure happiness. I use it on my Vision Grill to light up my lump coal, and I'm never looking back. After trying, chimney, electric, and fire cube starters, I can say that the Grill torch is where it's at. I gave away my electric starter and covered up the "starter port" on my grill with foil, because the only thing I use to start is this torch. Be warned: my wife does make fun of me for using propane to light my lump charcoal though, but worth it!
