I make mitts to sell to make money for a charity. This is my most requested fabric. Winter fleece is a great weight and quality.

Loved this fleece. Made 2 dog sweaters with it. So easy to work with.

Northern Lights Fleece Top part 2

Thanks, Shawna for your kind words about the fleece top. Yes, I have worn it a lot this winter. The mock turtleneck makes for a cozy top but it's not snug like a knit turtleneck that one would wear under a sweater. The finished circumference of the band is about 3 inches less than my head measurement and I have no trouble getting it over my head. There is not enough fabric left over to do a stretch test like one does for knits like spandex or tee fabrics. This pattern is my go to choice for a fleece top, and I have made so many for myself, as well as for gifts, from fleece from FMF.

Thank you so much for answering my questions Judie! I'm very interested in giving these a try....we have so many fun fleece prints, and solids, and I'll be honest, I kind of always think that the fleece is for the tie blankets, not for clothing...which is very ignorant of me! I have some now discontinued Pug print fleece, could you just imagine me making a sweater for myself?!? Thank you so much for following up Judie, I truly appreciate it!

Northern Lights Fleece top.

Pattern is Kwik Sew 3004 (might be discontinued because there are two patterns with the same number). I just had to purchase this colourful and beautiful fleece. Had enough left over for small gifts like neck warmers, a toque and the back of a cushion that had an embroidery of the Northern Lights on the front.

Wow, this is absolutely stunning Judie! It looks so nice and cozy too, which I'm sure you enjoyed a lot this winter lol! I'm so curious if the fleece is stretchy enough to go over the head easily? Such a great project, awesome work as always Judie!

Beautifully Soft

Vibrant colours, cozy weight and extremely soft fabric. Going to make blankets with a crochet edge for my adult grandsons. Received order in a timely fashion. Thank you.
