I was looking for an Oak Door for my house. I could not find one anywhere. So I purchased a metal door and skinned it with the veneer I purchased to make it look like an Oak Door on the inside of my house. The outside was painted gray. Nobody can tell its not a solid oak door when it is closed. The veneer worked great!

I was hired to refinish four tables for a local coffee shop. I wanted to wood burn the two 30 inch tables with the coffee shop name and logo and put chess and backgammon boards on the 24 inch tables. The problem was 3 of the tables were brown laminate. It wasn’t cost effective to buy new oak tops so I chose to put the oak veneer from Oakwood Veneer. The self adhesive oak veneer did a great job covering the old laminate and giving me a clear wood surface to burn. I used veneer chess and backgammon boards to complete the game tables. I have searched the internet for a company that specializes in wood veneer and came to the conclusion the Oakwood Veneer Company was my choice. I needed a full size sheet to use to refinish an antique treadle sewing machine cabinet and like the red oak BVF. Order the 4' x 8' sheet to flat sawn red oak BVF and it came to my home well packaged. I have since cut the pieces to fit the cabinet and glued them to the surfaces. I read the helpful information on the website and it sure helped to get an excellent surface. I would suggest to anyone to order from Oakwood Veneer and be sure and read the information, if you this is the first time veneering. Thank again Oakwood Veneer for the help and product.

We are renewing the trim of our 1971 home. Oak prehung doors we easy. The outside door really had no similar replacement so the decision was made to veneer the door with the thick backing oak. We used contact cement and I bought a veneer scraper just to be able to apply pressure to be safe. I prefinished the veneer. Cut off pieces were applied to window jams. The edges of the door and door jams were just sanded to the wood, stained and varnished to match. While not truly authentic more than adequate for a good looking job.
